DACA Summer Programs
The DACA Summer Swim Programs offer flexible, warm-weather options in a variety of areas including learn-to-swim lessons, water-polo lessons, and adult-lap swim.
DACA Summer Swim Lessons are an accelerated learn-to-swim program offered in one-week sessions during the months of June, July, and August. Convenient times offer flexibility during a busy summer season for bay area children of all ages. Classes are held Monday through Thursday at Saratoga High School and Westmont High School.
DACA Summer Water Polo Lessons offer a fun and enthusiastic introduction to the game of water polo. Taught by DACA's Competitive Water Polo Staff, children ages 5 - 14 will learn basic techniques, rules, and game skills. For young beginners (ages 5 - 10 years), a shallow water "Bugball" option is available. Classes are held Monday through Thursday in the months of June, July, and August at Saratoga High School and De Anza College.
DACA Summer Camps (Competitive Swimming & Water Polo) provides opportunity for individualized and group coaching for athletes of all ages and skill levels. Experienced and dedicated coaches will conduct training sessions in a fun, fast paced camp environment. Camps are open to athletes of all abilities ages 7-18 who are deep water safe.
The DACA Lap Swim Program is offered for deep water safe adults of all fitness levels. During the summer months, lap swimmers are offered from 5:30 - 7:00 AM Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at Saratoga High School (year-round).
For those interested in an indoor option, DACA offers an Indoor Summer Swim program and Summer Splash, an accelerated learn-to-swim program at the DACA Swim School, featuring flexible scheduling options.
For those interested in continuing with lessons in the fall or attending year-round classes at an indoor facility, the DACA Swim School offers weekly thirty minute classes. DACA Swim School classes are available seven days per week at the DACA Swim Center.
